Epps Lady Panthers were named CLASS C Track & Field State Runner-up.
Epps would like to recognize 8 young ladies for their accomplishment at state.

These young ladies are the 2013 Class C State Runner-ups. We won this
accolade without having a participant in every event. Those young ladies
competed only in 6 field events earning 43 points and 4 track events. The
1600m relay team finished first with their best time of 4:39. All of these
young ladies worked hard and was ready to compete. As their coach and
teacher, I am extremely proud of their accomplishment and would like for
them to be recognize on the parish website.
The boys finished 5th. Joe Ward won 1st in the shot put & discuss; Jamie
Sanders got 2nd in the 110m Hurdles & 3rd in the 300m Hurdles; Tyree Sanders
finished 5th in High Jump clearing 5'8; Mason Pruitt got 5th in 110m
Hurdles. Josh and Franklin Garner competed as well in the 1600m Run & 800m
Run. We are proud of these young men for their hard work and dedication.
